Немного, о том, как же сделать свой игровой сервер.
Мы получаем сотни писем каждую неделю, как же организовать свой собственный игровой онлайновый сервер и как же сделать самому локальный сервер Ragnarok Online? Для начала вам потребуется эмулятор игрового сервера, ведь все локальные игровые сервера запускаются на эмуляторах. Попрошу не путать с официальными игровыми серверными программами. Для запуска Рагнарок Онлайн, подойдет эмулятор Eathena.
Так же для полноценной игры вам понадобится не дешевый сервер. И установив на нем игровой эмулятор вы сможете попробовать насладиться игрой. Для запуска Рагнарок Онлайн можно использовать слабую машину, но для запуска Lineage2, Everquest2 и Rose online нужна машинка посолидней.
И так, допустим, вы нашли машину, скачали эмулятор игрового сервера и разобрались в онлайновой терминологии. Осталось найти подходящего провайдера. Лучше всего к игровым онлайновым проектам относятся отечественные провайдеры. Установка игровых серверов для вас практически ничего не будет стоить. Но, если вы хотите реально качественный сервис и игру без лагов, лучше обратиться к зарубежным провайдерам.
Такс, вы нашли провайдера, скачали эмулятор игры, купили хорошую машинку. Осталось дело за малым, найти скриптера и человека который во всем этом игровом беспределе разберется. Ведь людей, которые понимают в онлайновых проектах типа Рагнарок, очень мало людей. В основном куча народу, это просто игроки, людей же, которые смогли самостоятельно настроить игровой сервер - единицы.
Вперед! Но минуточку. Стоит сказать и про то, что для некоторых игр не существует эмуляторов. Например для Rose Online, Ragnarok Online, Everquest2, Lineage2, World of warcraft или попросту WOW не существует хороших эмуляторов и поэтому многие используют официальные серверные программы. Но я бы не советовал вам их использовать, так как по некоторым данным нелицензионное использование серверной части игры - вещь наказуемая.
